箏は曲により様々な音律に調弦できます。この曲集では第Ⅰ曲～第Ⅷ曲まで、ちょっとずつ調弦を変えて演奏するようにしてみました。調弦を変えることで曲の雰囲気も少しずつ異なってきます。
この曲集は、教育用オブジェクト指向プログラミング言語『ドリトル』で書かれたプログラムにより自動作曲されました。プログラムは、与えられた曲生成のためのパラメータを解釈して各々の曲を生成します。
曲を生成するためのパラメータは、小節数やテンポ、音の高さや長さを決める音符のセットなどです。音符セットの中から音をランダムに選択することで、自動的にメロディーが生成されます。第Ⅰ曲～第Ⅷ曲までの８つの曲は、各々異なる音符セットを使っています。曲毎に音符セットを変えることで、驚くほど多様な曲が生成されていきます。
